Samsung Mobile OS BADA – Competition for Smartphone’s Based on Android, Windows, Limo and iPhone OS

With the announcement of development of mobile OS "Bada" Samsung has knocked at the doors of other Open Source mobile OS rivals like Android and LiMo. The name of the software is based on Korean word which means "Ocean". It will be based on universal standards and shall empower developers to add there own new features to it for upcoming Smartphone.

The first mobile device based on Bada mobile OS might be displayed in first half of 2010, Samsung has tipped that a central app store will be in place and carriers will be allowed to customize the OS as per their requirements. Samsung will release the SDK in December.

There are so many OS being developed it will be interesting to see the competition among the contenders.
